I'm aware that I've not been updating this blog of mine but instead letting it to collect dust. Maaf ye semua.

I shall update on a conversation that I had with the Queen (my mami). The discussion on setting out wedding date only happen between beau & I so both our parents are rather clueless about it. Therefore, I've asked my mami whether 12 November 2016 is acceptable knowing that no couple "ikat" for 3 years unlike beau & I but we don't care. Guess what! Mami gave her thumbs up & she said there's nothing wrong in that.

When people asked when I'm getting married & I told them the date & they will go like, "Lama nye? Kenapa boleh lama nah? Kau ikat brape tahon ni?". I get this alot from my siblings & it feels like they are chasing me out. hu hu hu.... I have my reason for why I decided to get married that late. My reasons are that I want our wedding date nearer to the date of our house keys collection & so that we have more than enough money cos some have hutang sekeliling pinggang right after their majlis. Whoever wants that, right?

Mami agree 100% with my reasoning & she added that when I decided to get married near to the house key collection date means we wouldn't have to move so much into the new house. Unlike those people who got married and have to wait years for their house so by then they have to move alot of things into their new house.

My parents always emphasize that it is fine if we want to take our time as long we did not hutang anyone so that we can have our event. Or like some cases that daddy pernah story  like how the groom decided not to appear cos he was ashame as he did not have the duit hantaran. That is why my daddy kasi kita orang tunang till 3 tahun max.

Despite how strict my parents could be, I feel that they are very understanding and flexible in this matter. Akak sayang mami & daddy :)
