First & foremost, it is the first day of puasa so.....Selamat Berpuasa Semua!
I was browsing through different BTB blogs & they've made up a list of the things that need to be done. From one BTB blog to another, I got a little panicky because I didn't know there is alot of things to clear out. So far, the two things that I've been busy with is bridal & photography service that come together with videography. Lately, I've been sidetrack abit by researching on our Honeymoon. LIKE WHATTTTT!?!?!?!
As of now, beau & I decided on a combined wedding at Gurame Indonesian Restaurant. I've email them & asked for the quotations, they've list down the basic wedding stuff that they provide. One issue here, need to find the right time to tell Dad the news that we're PLANNING on doing a combined wedding.
Gurame provides us with the following:
- Deco (Pelamin, Chiavari Chairs)
- Catering
- Wedding Cards
- Venue (We're planning to nikah & sanding there)
- Shuttle Bus
- Musollah
- Changing room
If we get my dad's approval, at least we have fewer things that could be check out from our list. Next, the other things we need to think of...
- Bridal (Patiently waiting for Ishq by Nora Zee 2016 openings)
- Photography + Video (planning on Bliss Photo+Cinema)
- NO DULANG (except for dulang cincin je)
- Entertainment
- Kompang Boys (letting it go but if his brother nak sponsor then why not)
- Berkat (seems like Gurame never state this in their email)
- Marriage Course
- ROMM
- Tok Kadi
- Sireh Dara
- Bunga Rampai
- Car Rental
Okay, I pening now. Banyak jugak yang aku belom fikir kan. July is around the corner so I have 2 years & 4 months to go. Must ask beau to at least make some decisions. So far, when I asked he'll be like "Sembarang, asal kan you happy." FYI, I'm marrying to you eh not to myself. TSK.

Hey! Hey! Hey! I'm back ladies! After like 1 month or so, I've finally put aside my penyakit malas to update this blog. Alot of things have happen and alot of discussion was done between Beau & I. I shall update them in point form or this post will be very chunky chunky.
Let's take it away!
- Alhamdulilah, after 3 years as a temp staff at IRAS, I've secure myself a new job & a much higher pay. & now I can save more for the wedding. My new job will be at Woodlands & I love the location because if fikir jauh, dekat to my future home which is at Yishun. My last day at IRAS was last Wednesday, tu pasal now I have the time to update this blog before new work commence on Monday.
- The other day beau sent me a link regarding majlis kahwin zaman sekarang & how it was done base on adat rather than ugama. After reading that long article, we've decided to do the wajib. We're letting go of the dulang hantarans & surprisingly, Mami agrees to it. More about this issue later in the next post.
- Beau decided to ride Isabelle (his bike) to the wedding location. I find his idea rather unique & why not kan? But need to ask our Mak Andam, takut she da siap kan lawa-lawa for him sekali pakai helmet all mess up.
- We've stop looking for wedding locations cos somehow we're hooked onto Gurame Restaurant for our wedding location. Just need to find the right time to tell Dad about our joint wedding ideas.
- Confirm plus chop, I want Kak Nora Zee as my mak andam that I've been on the edge of my seat after she replied to me saying that 2016 bookings will be open end of this year.
- We started looking for photography and videography services & I'm fickle minded on my choices. When I asked beau about it, all he could say was "All I tengok suma macam same je". Seriously?!?! I think he doesn't have eyes for details. Tsk. But we will ask Kak Nora to recommend us any photography or videography services that she can work easily with.
Well, I guess that is all for my updates. I think I wanna revamp the outlook of my blog & link some BTB. Toodles. Ciao.
