Since there's no work to be done, I shall update on the wedding preps. Beau & I have placed our deposit on our bridal. Therefore, photographer and bridal done. We've decided on not doing any videography so that is out of the question.
Location/Catering? That is what my parents have been taking their own sweet time to decide. Honestly, I've no idea on where my wedding will be held because the parents said "Location and catering, do not touch." But Mami have been asking me to help email to some places for their quotations. I've stopped doing that for her already because I'm serious in helping her, member sempat gurau.
The other day I asked, "Mami at this place per head is SGD XX++."
She said, "Mahal lah."
So I asked, "Budget Mami and Daddy brape?" so that its easy for me to narrow down my search.
Denga selambe dia reply, "$10 per head."
Dia fikir buat kelakar pe.
But there's one particular location that I like and till today Mami never reject that location cos deep down she wants that location too. Therefore, when everyone asked where am I having my wedding, I will say, "I don't know lah my parents."
As of now, I've been happily following beau & his family to view locations for their wedding because my wedding prep when it comes to location have been a mundane one. Tsk.
But recently I've asked Mami why Daddy took so long to decide on a location.
She said,
"Your dad does not need to do all the research that he needs. If he like that location, he will go down to that place, talk to the person in charge and place deposit on the spot."

I'm a very fickle-minded person (that's explain the blog name) & when I thought I've settled on one bridal, I tend to second guess myself & look for another bridal. Well, that's what I did. I remembered I've write up a post how I've found Putih Bridal TAPI last week I gatal go search for The Songket Bridal by Norseha Sani.
So, I action-action FB message her for quotation but she say to make an appointment with her so I could view the packages that she offer. Then I told myself why not kan? Somehow, when other bridal ask to meet up just to see the package, I don't bother to proceed further but with The Songket Bridal it was different. After we set our date for our appointment which was on 9th December, she told me she does not have any off the rack outfit and all are customised. I literally went "OH SHIT!" cos I know it will be so expensive sebab customised seh but part of me told me to "GO JE!".
And we actually go je but I was having butterflies in my tummy when we were under her blog (siapa tak kenal Kak Seha from Anak Metro kan?) and I got more nervous to even ring her door bell. HAHAHAHAHAHA! but we did anyway. She give a very good impression I must say, she and her husband are so welcoming (from nervous gila tiba-tiba tak nervous).
She explained why she did customised outfit rather than off the rack & one of the reason that I agree strongly with her is that some bring in designer outfit for extra charges but still can see alot of bride wearing the same outfit over and over again. Then she asked what are we looking for & how will our wedding be. We were clueless on how the wedding should be & thank God her husband was there to give us some tips.
Kak Seha showed us the package that fit for us cos we asked for 3 outfits. When I see the price, I was like WOW! cos its within our budget & much better than those bridals who charge us more but their outfit are all repetitive. Kak Seha was very helpful on what type of outfit I should do since I'm a hijabi. Cut short, both Kak Seha & her husband were very helpful in all aspect of the discussion. & did we mention that we laughed alot? Yes, we did! They make us feel soooooo comfortable, it feels as though we've been members with them. Dalam senyap, beau have agreed to have them as our bridal cos he said he want gerek people like them to be apart of our wedding. I mean, who doesn't wants that kan? Aku pon nak seh.
Semenjak hari itu, I've been looking through Pinterest on how I want my outfits. Kak Seha mention she cannot do exactly as how the picture will be but she can do something similar to it.
I've been saving some pictures from Pinterest to show you how I want my 1st, 2nd and 3rd outfit to be. & also for keepsake so that I can show them to Kak Seha in the future for our Choosing Appoinment.
For nikah, I want a white dress which is something like this.....
For my 2nd outfit, I want a mermaid dress but with those poofy poofy thingy at the bottom. I was thinking on doing an all songket material for this one.
Lastly, I've been going gaga over this particular dress I found on Pinterest. It has that songket modern touch but look so royalty.
So far, that is what I had in mind but confirm in the future I will change my mind when I see something that really attracts me.
Therefore, Bridal : Checked.

Alhamdulilah, we've placed our deposit for our photographer last sunday evening. I must say it went well. We never tell him what we want from a photographer but when he explain what he do, its like what I have in mind. I want my photos to be capturing the whole event, more candid and less posing here and there. The fact that he did that for all his work, we don't regret our choice.
Next, bridal appointment.
